Ramen is a wheat noodle dish that has the name varied by its soup, for example, Shoyu Ramen (soy sauce based soup), Miso Ramen (Miso paste soup), Shio Ramen (salt based soup), Tonkotsu Ramen (milky pork-bone broth). For the meat and other ingredients for ramen are called Topping which usually consist of Chashu (slices of grilled pork), boiled egg, seaweed, onion, mushroom, corn, etc.

Sushi is cooked vinegared rice served with Shuyu (Soy sause) and Wasabi. Karei is Curry in English. It can be served with cooked rice or Udon (Japanese thick noodle). The common ingredients of Karei are beef or pork, potato, carrot, onion, etc. Besides, it can be eaten with deep-fried chicken, shrimp, pork cutlets as well as Omurice (omelette with fried rice).

Bento in Japan is a takeout rice box meal, while in Thailand, it is a set of Japanese meal in a box-shaped container, consisting of rice, meat or fish, pickled vegetables. Bento are usually served in Japanese restaurant in Thailand and has quite high price comparing with other a la cart menu.
